This 1963 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk II BJ7 is a long-term owned example that has remained with its current owner since 2004 and is accompanied by extensive maintenance records. It is powered by a 2.9 litre naturally aspirated inline six producing 97 kW (132 hp), paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive driving the rear wheels. Introduced in 1962, the BJ7 represented an important evolution of the Austin-Healey 3000, introducing the Sports Convertible body style with wind-up side windows, a more practical folding roof and revised interior appointments. It retained the 2,912 cc C-Series six-cylinder engine and four-speed transmission with overdrive, combining the performance and character of the earlier Big Healeys with greater refinement for road and touring use.

Finished in Old English White over Gunmetal with black interior trim and a black folding roof, this example rides on 72-spoke Dayton wire wheels and is fitted with a Moto-Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel. A stainless steel exhaust system was fitted in 2006. The seller advises that the interior was fully retrimmed in 2005, including the seats, carpets and tonneau, while the crimp-weld trim around both doors and the rear tail lights have more recently been replaced. The current owner purchased the Healey in June 2004 from a previous owner in Adelaide, who is understood to have acquired it from The Healey Factory approximately one year earlier. Maintenance during the current ownership has been carried out by British and European vehicle specialists including World Class Automotive, Graeme Lord Automotive, Wollongong Auto Excellence and Euro Cars Garage. The car was completely rewired in 2005 and the gearbox rebuilt in 2017. The most recent full service was completed on 6 August 2025 and included replacement of the brake slave cylinder, master cylinder and brake booster, with new Michelin tyres fitted at the same time. The exterior was repainted in 2015 and is described as presenting well, with a small paint chip below the left rear bumper having been touched in by hand. The seller describes the interior trim as presenting well, while noting that replacement seat belts would improve its appearance.
