This 1969 Toyota Corolla KE10 is a comprehensively restored first-generation example finished in white over a black interior. It is powered by a rebuilt four-cylinder engine paired with a manual transmission driving the rear wheels, and the odometer displays 87,312 miles indicated.
Introduced in the late 1960s, the KE10 Corolla marked Toyota’s early expansion into global markets and quickly developed a reputation for reliability and simplicity. Lightweight and rear-wheel drive, these early Corollas have become increasingly sought after as surviving examples become scarce. Their compact proportions and straightforward mechanical layout make them an appealing entry into classic Japanese car ownership.
This example is understood to have had two or more previous owners, with the current owner having held the vehicle for approximately one year. It was purchased from an older owner who rebuilt the engine. At the time of purchase the car was running and driving, though requiring fine adjustment to the timing. The vehicle is described as approximately 97% complete following restoration works.
The car has undergone a comprehensive rotisserie restoration, with the underside finished in black Raptor stone-chip protection. The engine has been rebuilt and much of the vehicle is described as new or restored. A 2-inch full exhaust system has been fitted with brand-new flanges and gaskets, and a VZ brake booster upgrade has been installed. The new, full exhaust system has been fabricated by Muffler Men Oak Flats.
Mechanically, the vehicle starts, runs and drives, though it will require final tuning to ensure it operates smoothly. The seller notes that the brakes require bleeding. There are no reported accidents or write-offs, and the vehicle received a full respray as part of its restoration.
Externally, the white paint presents in fair condition. Having been stored in a garage for an extended period, the vehicle would benefit from a polish and paint correction, though it remains presentable overall.
Inside, the black interior presents in fair condition with new upholstery fitted. Seats and trims are clean, along with the steering wheel and shifter. The vehicle is missing one clip for the left-hand window winder handle and does not currently have a radio fitted.
Included with the sale are the factory spare wheel, a factory Corolla manual, and a collection of original parts that will accompany the vehicle.
As per Trading Garage Terms and Conditions, although Trading Garage has completed the following checks, bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description and conduct any research they feel necessary prior to bidding. All listings are sold in Australian dollars. A PPSR search confirms the vehicle has not been recorded as written off or stolen and no security interests are recorded.
