This 1972 Nissan Skyline 2000GT is a Hakosuka hardtop featuring an upgraded L28 drivetrain and adjustable suspension from Japanese specialist Victory 50. Its naturally aspirated 2.8 litre inline six is paired with a five-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels, with the photographed dyno sheet supporting approximately 94 kW (126 hp) at the rear wheels. The odometer currently shows 87,328 km* TMU.

The third-generation C10 Skyline arrived in August 1968, becoming the first Skyline generation introduced after Nissan’s merger with Prince. Known as the Hakosuka, or “boxy Skyline”, it combined angular bodywork with the distinctive sculpted rear-quarter styling. The two-door hardtop joined the range in 1970 with a wheelbase 70 mm shorter than the sedan. The 2000GT featured an L20 inline six and independent front and rear suspension.

Finished in cream, this example features chrome bumpers, wing-mounted mirrors, dark wheels with polished rims, and front and rear spoilers. The seller identifies the fitted GT-R badges as new-old-stock items; these form part of its modified appearance. The photographed identification plate records KGC10-044456 and an L20 engine of 1,998 cc, distinguishing its recorded factory specification from the larger L28 now fitted. The right-hand-drive cabin features black upholstery, woodgrain-effect trim, a three-spoke steering wheel, a centre console and a floor-mounted gear lever. A concealed Bluetooth receiver has been added. The seller advises that fully adjustable front and rear coilover suspension and upgraded control arms were sourced from KGC10 Works – Victory 50.

The supplied history details substantial mechanical work, including freshly rebuilt triple Weber carburettors, an upgraded camshaft and valve springs, a new timing chain, custom-made extractors and a full exhaust system. The differential centre and driveshafts have been reconditioned, and the engine, gearbox and differential oils replaced. Four new tyres and new front ball joints have also been fitted. Brake work includes attention to the master cylinder, wheel cylinders, rear shoes, front callipers and pads, together with fresh fluid; the seller additionally reports work to the slave cylinder. Photographed paperwork records brake and servicing work, while a CMS Performance dyno sheet dated 22 July 2026 documents the power run.

The seller describes the body as being in great condition and the interior as very good for its age. The photographs show creasing and surface wear to the seat upholstery. The seller reports that the mechanical components were found to be in good order during the recent work and describes the car as reliable.

Included with the sale are the import approval paperwork, original badges and boot garnish, a set of tail lights, a new boxed dash pad and a set of new, unfitted front and rear wheelarch flares.
