This car is finished in its original Fjord metallic blue over a tan. The cabin features a woodgrain dashboard fascia, tan door cards and carpets, and a Petri-style three-spoke leather steering wheel (also re-covered in leather) with aluminium spokes. A period Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio is fitted. The transmission has been converted from the original automatic to a period-correct Getrag five-speed manual with overdrive, with all correct supporting components including pedal box, shift linkage, and tailshaft. Manufactured on 2 May 1974 and delivered new to Australia on 10 June 1974, this E9 spent its early life in the Norwood area of South Australia. It was subsequently purchased by a family in Adelaide in 1998 from Franklin Motors, with the original sales invoice on file, and remained in the same family for over 20 years before being acquired by the current owner in August 2020. A full ground-up restoration was then undertaken, during which the car was stripped to bare metal and every major system addressed. Bodywork was carried out by Edwardstown Body Repairs in Adelaide, with the shell receiving new door skins, three new floor pans, a new front valance, boot re-skin, new front and rear quarter panels, and a fully repaired and reinstalled sunroof assembly. All panels were meticulously straightened and fitted before paint. The shell was then painted inside and out by CK Paint and Panel in Fjord metallic blue, with all hanging panels removed and the boot and engine bay painted in full. Mechanical work was completed by Smith Automotive of Lonsdale, who performed a comprehensive overhaul of the engine, cooling system, suspension, brakes, and drivetrain. The steering box was professionally rebuilt by Re-Car. Parts were sourced from E9 specialists Walloth and Nesch, as well as from the global E9 community, with a number of correct body panels sourced internationally. The exterior of this 3.0CS presents in exceptional condition, a direct reflection of the quality of the ground-up restoration. The Fjord metallic paintwork displays excellent depth and lustre with no notable marks or blemishes identified. Panel fit and shut lines are excellent throughout. Chrome detailing presents in polished condition and all four refurbished alloy wheels appear without dent or kerb damage.

The interior presents to an equally high standard. Tan upholstery on the seats shows no scuffs, sagging, or wear following professional retrimming by SAM Upholstery, and the dash has been repadded. The woodgrain fascia, door cards, and new carpets are all in excellent order. Instrumentation presents cleanly and the refurbished Petri steering wheel shows no notable signs of wear.
