This 1996 Daimler Double Six LWB is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0 litre V12 paired with an automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Recently imported from the Japanese-market, this saloon is accompanied by its original Japanese export certificate and Australian import approval. The odometer currently shows 121,226 km indicated.
Part of the X300 generation, the Double Six combined Jaguar’s saloon platform with Daimler’s luxury appointments and twelve-cylinder engine. The long-wheelbase version provided additional rear passenger space, while the fluted grille and extensive timber trim continued familiar Daimler styling traditions.
Finished in white, this example features a fluted chrome grille, chrome mirror housings, alloy wheels, front fog lamps and a fine contrasting body pinstripe. The cabin combines grey leather upholstery with timber dashboard, centre-console and door trim, a wood-finished gear knob and Daimler-branded carpets. Visible equipment includes climate control, cruise control and a radio-cassette audio system.
The Japanese export certificate records first registration in August 1996 and previous odometer readings of 119,400 km on 28 April 2023 and 120,600 km on 28 April 2025. The accompanying Australian concessional RAV entry approval is dated 23 June 2026 and identifies the vehicle by the same VIN as the export certificate and supplied PPSR search.
The seller reports a full dealer service history to approximately 100,000 km, followed by independent servicing, with the next service due at 123,684 km. They also advise that a battery replacement was carried out recently in Japan, based on the sticker attached to the battery. No modifications are reported.
The seller describes the mechanical, exterior and interior condition as excellent and reports no known accident or respray history. The air conditioning is reported to cool, although its performance is reduced, with the seller suggesting that it may require re-gassing.
Included with the sale are two keys without remote controls, an additional set of original Daimler floor mats, the Japanese export certificate and the Australian import approval.
As per Trading Garage Terms and Conditions, although Trading Garage has completed the following checks bidders must satisfy themselves to the accuracy of the description and do any research they feel necessary before bidding. All listings are sold in Australian dollars. This vehicle is currently unregistered. The supplied PPSR search dated 30 October 2026 records no security interests against the VIN and does not record the vehicle as written off or stolen.
