This 2001 Nissan 200SX Spec-R (S15 Silvia) is an Australian delivered example presented with its original service books. It is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged SR20DET inline four producing 147 kW (197 hp) in factory specification, paired with a six-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. The odometer currently shows 124,453 km* indicated.
Introduced to Australia in 2001, the S15 represented the final generation of Nissan’s Silvia-based 200SX and was offered locally in Spec-S and higher-specification Spec-R forms. The Spec-R combined the turbocharged SR20DET with a six-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential, retaining the compact front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout that had defined Nissan’s Silvia line.
Finished in white, this example has been modified with an Apexi Power FC ECU, Z32 airflow meter, Blitz SE front-mount intercooler, three-inch dump and front pipe, three-inch exhaust with Varex rear muffler, Extreme Organic heavy-duty clutch and flywheel and associated tuning. The seller advises that it produces approximately 190 kW at the rear wheels on 1.3 bar while retaining its factory T28 turbocharger. Exterior modifications include an Origin Racingline body kit, Origin 55 mm front and rear guards, Origin roof spoiler, D-Max rear spoiler and tail lights, together with genuine Nissan Australian-delivered headlights.
The car is fitted with 18-inch Cosmis MR-II wheels, BC BR coilovers, GKTech tie rods and tie-rod ends, TuneAgent rear camber arms, Cazman rear toe arms, a Hardrace front sway bar and adjustable front lower control arms. Inside, it retains its factory steering wheel, seats and carpeting, with a Kenwood double-DIN head unit, Fusion front speakers, Fitmint Autos floor mats and a 326 Power dash mat also fitted.
The current owner acquired the car in November 2023 from its previous Tasmanian owner and advises that fewer than 500 km have been covered since. Servicing during their ownership has included work at Total Traction in Canberra, while the original service books remain with the vehicle.
The seller notes several minor chips to the body kit, a small paint chip to the left door and minor scuffing to one wheel. The stock pearl white bonnet differs slightly in colour from the surrounding bodywork. The seats, carpeting and interior trim are described as presenting well, while the air conditioning currently requires a regas.
Included with the vehicle are a spare key, service booklet, jack set and spare factory wheel.
