This 2004 BMW (E46) M3 - Supercharged is an Australian delivered, low kilometre example that has remained with its current owner since 2010. It is powered by a 3.2 litre supercharged inline six cylinder engine, with the fitted ESS VT2-550 package rated by its manufacturer at up to 410 kW (550 hp), paired with a six speed SMG II automated manual transmission driving the rear wheels. The odometer currently displays 57,018 km.

Produced from 2000 to 2006, the E46 M3 combined BMW M’s high revving S54 inline six cylinder engine with a widened body, model specific suspension, larger brakes and a variable locking rear differential. In factory form, the M3 Coupé produced 252 kW (343 hp) at 7,900 rpm, with buyers able to select either a conventional six speed manual or the SMG II sequential automated manual transmission. The E46 generation became one of BMW M’s best known models, combining the compact proportions of the contemporary 3 Series Coupé with a purpose developed powertrain and chassis package.

Finished in silver over a black leather interior, this example is fitted with 20 inch alloy wheels and Tein coilover suspension. The S54 engine has been upgraded with an ESS VT2-550 supercharger system and front mounted intercooler, with the installation completed by City Performance in Artarmon. The original wheels and standard engine components removed during the supercharger installation have been retained.

The current owner believes they are the vehicle’s second owner, having purchased it from Trivett in Alexandria in 2010. The car was serviced through Trivett before that purchase and has subsequently been maintained by City Performance in Artarmon, including during periods when it travelled limited kilometres. Its original service books remain with the vehicle.

The seller advises that no accident repairs have been carried out during their ownership. They also report that an inspection undertaken when the vehicle was purchased in 2010 did not identify evidence of previous accident damage.

Included with the vehicle are its original service books, original wheels and the standard engine components removed during installation of the supercharger system.
