This 2014 HSV GTS Maloo is documented as one of two pre-production test vehicles used by HSV Engineering for the GTS Maloo program and has been retained by its current owner since 2018. Its supercharged 6.2 litre LSA V8 has a factory-rated output of 430 kW and 740 Nm, paired with a six-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. The odometer currently shows 48,906 km.
Announced in September 2014, the GEN-F GTS Maloo brought the GTS sedan’s supercharged drivetrain and performance technology to HSV’s utility range. HSV announced a production allocation of 250 vehicles, comprising 240 for Australia and 10 for New Zealand. The model featured upgraded AP Racing brakes, torque vectoring and a distinctive GTS front fascia, with production scheduled to commence in November 2014.
Finished in Some Like It Hot, this example retains its factory specification without aftermarket modifications. Clear gloss paint-protection film has been applied to both sides and the mirrors, and the fitted Michelin tyres are reported to have almost full tread remaining.
Identified by the build plate on the vehicle as engineering vehicle E002/02, this Maloo is accompanied by correspondence from the Walkinshaw Group confirming that its VIN was one of two vehicles used by HSV Engineering as pre-production test vehicles for the GTS Maloo program. The seller advises that it was first owned and registered by HSV Engineering. The current owner purchased the vehicle in 2018 and believes they are its third or fourth owner. Servicing is recorded in the original books through Holden dealerships and an independent mechanic, with the seller undertaking the most recent oil and filter change in June 2026.
The seller describes the paintwork as being in excellent condition, with no stone chips, while disclosing a small dent on the right-rear quarter panel. The interior is described as being particularly well preserved, with slight wrinkling to the leather border of the driver’s seat. The seller reports no current faults or fault codes and describes the vehicle as mechanically sound.
Included with the sale are the original books and service records, two spare keys, an HSV data-logging CD for track use and the Walkinshaw Group correspondence confirming its pre-production testing history.
As per Trading Garage Terms and Conditions, although Trading Garage has completed the following checks bidders must satisfy themselves to the accuracy of the description and do any research they feel necessary before bidding. All listings are sold in Australian dollars. This vehicle is currently unregistered. There are no security interests registered on the PPSR against the serial number and it is not recorded as written off or stolen.
